Thinking about college? Not sure where to start? This Teen Focus workshop for students 12 and up will guide learners through the basics of college admissions. Students will be able to explore a variety of college program types, consider potential majors, and create a list of features that might be found in their best-fit colleges.
Once a goal for college has been set, students can begin creating an action plan for admissions. We will look at transcripts, personal statement essays, student resumes, testing options, extracurricular activities, and more. Students can begin to organize their ideas and academic documents.
Students of all academic backgrounds are welcome in this workshop. Homeschoolers, charter school students, traditional school students, and eclectic learners – this 6-session workshop will be valuable for all.
