Magic Lens/Word Within the Word 1A/B
Magic Lens courses are year-long explorations of grammar and vocabulary. Students who have already completed Grammar Town and/or Grammar Voyage will be well-prepared for success in these classes, but older students who are strong readers may find Magic Lens to be a good entry point into the Michael Clay Thompson English curriculum.
Magic Lens 1A is a firm prerequisite for Magic Lens 1B. This class is front-loaded so that most of the direct instruction takes place in the first semester, while the second semester is reserved for intensive practice of concepts studied.
